1. Who can take part

1.1 Our lessons are mainly for children. Each lesson type shows its age range on our booking page; some lesson types may also be open to teenagers and adults.

1.2 For a participant under 18, the person who books must be their parent or legal guardian and at least 18 years old. Adult participants book for themselves.

1.3 If a participant is outside the age range of the booked lesson, we may move the booking to a suitable lesson type or decline it.

2. Our lessons

2.1 BTAS offers sports lessons in different activities and formats, for example home lessons (our coach comes to a place near you), private lessons and group lessons at a venue. The activities and formats on offer are listed on our website and booking page and can change over time.

2.2 Each lesson type on our booking page states its activity, format, age range, duration, number of participants and price. The booked duration includes preparation, safety equipment and warm-up time, as stated for that lesson type.

2.3 We provide the sport and safety equipment stated for the lesson type. Participants wear the clothing stated in the booking confirmation for that activity (for example sports clothing and closed shoes).

2.4 Where a lesson type allows it, more participants of the same family can join the same lesson for the extra charge shown at booking.

2.5 After each lesson the coach records who attended and may add short feedback. We use it to keep your lesson record and to improve our service.

3. Booking and payment

3.1 You book and pay online on our booking page. A lesson is booked only when you receive our booking confirmation.

3.2 Prices are in US dollars (USD). The amount in AED is shown for guidance only. Prices can change, but never for a lesson you have already paid.

3.3 You pay by card through our payment provider. We do not see or keep your card number.

3.4 You give a correct mobile number and email. We use this number for WhatsApp messages about your lessons (section 13).

3.5 After booking, our team may contact you to confirm that the lesson place is suitable (section 8).

4. Rescheduling

4.1 Each lesson can be rescheduled once in the normal way and once because of sickness.

4.2 Normal reschedule. Ask us on WhatsApp at least 48 hours (2 days) before the lesson starts. No document is needed. You choose a new date from the free lessons and confirm it. Until you confirm, the lesson stays as booked.

4.3 The 30-day limit. The new lesson must take place within 30 days of the date the lesson was first booked for. This also applies to package lessons, even when the package ends earlier.

4.4 Sickness reschedule. Less than 48 hours before the lesson, a lesson can be rescheduled only if a participant is sick. Tell us on WhatsApp (or press "To Reschedule" in our reminder message) no later than 2 hours before the lesson. Send us a document that confirms the sickness (for example a doctor's note) within 3 working days (Monday to Friday). After we confirm the document, you choose a new date within 30 days of the missed lesson. This is possible also for a lesson that was already rescheduled once in the normal way.

4.5 More than one participant. If one of several participants is sick, you can reschedule the whole lesson under 4.4, or the lesson takes place for the others and counts as taken.

4.6 No free lesson. If no lesson is free within the limit, you choose to keep your lesson as booked or to wait for new dates. A waiting lesson is moved off its date; when new dates are published we send you a WhatsApp message, and you then have 14 days to choose a new date from the new schedule. If you do not choose within 14 days, the lesson counts as taken.

4.7 "Counts as taken" means the lesson is used: it is not moved, refunded or returned to a package. A lesson counts as taken when the participant does not attend and the lesson was not rescheduled under this section, when no sickness document arrives in time or it is not confirmed, or when a date was not chosen in time.

4.8 Late start. A lesson runs in the time you booked. If you or the participant are late, the lesson still ends at the booked end time; the missed time is not made up or rescheduled.

4.9 These rules apply to single lessons and to package lessons.

5. Cancellation and refunds

5.1 You cannot cancel a lesson; you can reschedule it under section 4. Only BTAS cancels lessons.

5.2 If BTAS cannot run a lesson because of weather or other circumstances outside your control, we move it to a new date free of charge. This does not use your own reschedule.

5.3 If BTAS cancels a lesson booked with a package, the lesson goes back to your package.

5.4 Payments for lessons and packages are not refundable. A lesson BTAS cannot run is moved to a new date (5.2), not refunded.

5.5 A lesson that counts as taken is not refunded and does not go back to a package.

5.6 If BTAS stops offering a lesson type and cannot offer you a new date or a suitable other lesson instead, we refund the paid lessons you could not take. Any other refund is at BTAS's sole discretion, unless UAE law requires it.

5.7 A refund goes to the card used for payment, in USD. We send you a message with the amount. Your bank may take 5 to 10 working days to show it.

6. Packages

6.1 A package gives a set number of lessons of one lesson type at a lower price per lesson. Its package description states what it includes and how long it is valid.

6.2 A package is valid for the period stated in its package description, counted from the date of purchase. Lessons not used within that period end with the package; they are not extended or refunded.

6.3 Buying a package does not reserve a lesson, date or coach. You book each lesson with your package code, and it is booked only when you receive our booking confirmation.

6.4 A package is for the participant(s) it was bought for, each with a signed waiver. To use it for another child of the same family, that child needs a signed waiver first. In a package for 2 or 3 children, the extra children are included; nothing extra is paid at booking.

6.5 If lessons are left, we may remind you on WhatsApp before your package ends.

6.6 A package has no cash value and cannot be sold or given to another family without our written consent.

7. Promo codes and offers

7.1 General rules for every code. One code per booking. Codes cannot be combined with other offers, exchanged for cash or used after their end date. An expired code is not extended. We may cancel a code that is misused.

7.2 Personal promo codes (for example a WhatsApp offer, the thank-you offer after a lesson, or the media consent thank-you) are for the family they were sent to, for the lesson type named in the message, for one booking, until the end date and time in the message. Once a personal code is used, other open offers sent to the same family end.

7.3 Welcome and seasonal offers (for example WELCOME20): who can use them, for which lessons and until when is stated with each offer.

7.4 Package codes are used only to book the lessons of that package (section 6).

7.5 Referral program: the rewards and conditions are on our Referral Program page.

7.6 We may change or end an offer at any time; a code already sent stays valid until its end date.

8. Lesson location and safety

8.1 Lessons at a venue (for example a skatepark or a pool) take place at the address in the booking confirmation, and the venue's own rules also apply. Clauses 8.2 to 8.7 are for home lessons.

8.2 At booking you give the lesson location and a Google Maps link. Our team may contact you to confirm that the place is suitable.

8.3 Before the lesson we may send a WhatsApp message to check the location, and you can correct it there.

8.4 The place must be safe for the activity, as described for the lesson type: for example a flat, dry surface free of traffic and construction for wheeled sports.

8.5 For places that belong to others (for example community areas, parks or building grounds) you get any permission needed before the lesson.

8.6 If the coach finds the place unsafe on arrival and no safe spot is nearby, the lesson cannot run. Because the place requirements are given to you before the lesson, the lesson counts as taken and is not refunded.

8.7 We prefer a parent or guardian to be at or near the lesson spot, but a lesson can also run without them. You stay reachable by phone during the lesson.

9. Health, sickness and injuries

9.1 Participants must be well enough to take part. Tell us at booking about medical conditions, allergies or physical limitations.

9.2 The coach may stop or not start a lesson if a participant seems unwell or unsafe to continue. You can then reschedule under 4.4.

9.3 Our coaches hold First Aid and Child Guard certificates. In an emergency we give first aid, call emergency services and contact you. Medical costs are paid by the family, unless the injury was caused by BTAS's fault.

10. Waiver

10.1 Every participant needs a signed BTAS waiver before the first lesson. The parent or guardian who booked signs it, using the same mobile number or email as on the booking.

10.2 A waiver counts when it is the current version and has not expired. When we publish a new version, families with coming lessons are asked to sign again.

10.3 The coach can start the lesson only when every participant has a signed waiver. If it is missing, the parent signs it on the spot; the lesson still ends at the booked end time.

11. Weather

11.1 Lessons go ahead in mild heat, light wind or light drizzle.

11.2 In heavy rain, storms, extreme heat, flooding or strong wind, BTAS may move the lesson; 5.2 applies.

11.3 If you do not want to take part in weather we consider safe, the normal rescheduling rules apply (section 4).

12. Photos and videos

12.1 Our waiver includes media consent (section 10 of the waiver). With it, the parent agrees that BTAS may photograph and film the participants during lessons and use this media to promote BTAS on our website, social media, adverts and printed materials.

12.2 Before we film or photograph participants for BTAS media, we confirm the consent with you on WhatsApp. It is confirmed when you press "I Give My Consent" or use the thank-you promo code we send for it (section 7.2). If you do not confirm, we do not film or photograph your participants for BTAS media.

12.3 If you press "Don't Ask Anymore", we do not ask you again and do not film or photograph your participants for BTAS media.

12.4 You can withdraw media consent at any time by WhatsApp or email. We then stop new filming and new uses, and remove the material from our own channels within a reasonable time. Material already printed, or shared by other people, may not be recoverable.

12.5 Withdrawing media consent does not change the rest of your waiver or these Terms.

13. WhatsApp messages

13.1 We send service messages by WhatsApp to the number given at booking, for example the booking confirmation, reminders before the lesson, a location check before a home lesson, rescheduling and cancellation messages, package messages, and a thank-you after the lesson.

13.2 From time to time we may ask you to confirm a local calling number, so the coach can call you on the lesson day.

13.3 We may also send offers, new lesson dates, and requests for a review or referral. Messages not tied to a booked lesson are sent between 09:00 and 21:00 Dubai time, except the thank-you and review after a lesson, which can come the same evening.

13.4 To stop offers, reply STOP or press "Don't Ask Anymore" where shown. Service messages about booked lessons continue.

13.5 You can ask us questions in the same WhatsApp chat.

14. Conduct

14.1 Participants follow the coach's safety instructions. The coach may stop a lesson if a participant's behaviour puts them or others at risk; the lesson then counts as taken.

14.2 We expect respectful behaviour towards our coaches. We may refuse future bookings after abusive behaviour.

15. Liability

15.1 Sports and physical activities carry risks, such as falls or collisions, even with safety equipment and supervision. You accept these risks for the participants when you book and sign the waiver.

15.2 To the extent allowed by UAE law, BTAS is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from participation, except where it was caused by BTAS's fault.

15.3 To the extent allowed by UAE law, BTAS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for a booking is limited to the amount paid for it.

15.4 BTAS holds liability insurance for its lessons.

15.5 You are responsible for damage caused by participants to third-party property at the lesson place.

15.6 Nothing in these Terms limits any right or liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.

16. Privacy

16.1 How we collect and use personal data, including children's data, WhatsApp messages and website tracking, is explained in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

17. Other terms

17.1 Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our control, such as government restrictions, emergencies or natural events. Lessons affected are moved under 5.2.

17.2 Changes. We may update these Terms. The version shown on our website on the day you book applies to that booking.

17.3 Intellectual property. Our website content, logos, videos and texts belong to BTAS and may not be used without our written consent.

17.4 If a part is invalid. If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force.

17.5 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes go to the competent courts of Dubai.
